Oatmeal Cookies
1 cup Shortening
1 cup Brown sugar, packed
1 cup White sugar
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 ½ cups All-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking soda
3 cups Quick cooking oats
Cream shortening and sugars, and eggs and vanilla. Mix. Add dry ingredients. Place on ungreased sheets, bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes.
